Jeffrey A. Hoffman, PhD, is founder, President, and CEO of
Danya International, Inc., a dynamic company specializing
in health communications around the world through the creative
use of new technology. Dr. Hoffman is trained as a clinical
psychologist and researcher with specialized expertise in
addictions treatment, tobacco control, HIV prevention, and
family relationships. Dr. Hoffman has been the Principal Investigator
on several Federally funded research projects and has authored
or co-authored over 30 research and clinical articles and
treatment manuals, including the Adolescent Smoking Cessation
Escaping Nicotine and Tobacco (ASCENT) program published
by Hazelden Publishing and Educational Services. Through his
work at Danya, Dr. Hoffman has spearheaded the development
of numerous health-related Websites, videotapes, multimedia
programs, and education programs. He received his PhD in Clinical
Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill, his MA in Family Studies and Child Development from
Stanford University, and his BA in Liberal Arts from Michigan
State University.
